Two of the latest versions of the EN Handler the MK2C have entered service with the Republic of Korea Navy, where they will be handling Sikorsky UH60 helicopters on the country’s new, absolute ‘state of the art’ LPX Frigates.
The Mk2C version of the well Known EN Handler is the latest development of a basic design that spans over 30 years
Fully computerised battery charging and battery maintenance, digitised traction management which includes full acceleration and deceleration mapping to avoid excessive airframe / undercarriage loadings, and the latest thinking in regenerative braking systems all contribute refinement to this well proven and reliable non embedded aircraft deck handling system.
EN Handlers are used by Navies and Defence agencies right around the world.
The contract clearly illustrates that EN Handler still has plenty of miles left on the clock as it moves into the new generation naval vessels and the high aircraft sortie rates required in modern sea defences.
